What it is and how it is performed

What It Is

Chemical peel is a medical aesthetic treatment that applies controlled acid solutions to exfoliate the superficial layers of the skin and stimulate cellular renewal. It is the ideal solution if you wish to even out your skin tone, reduce sun and superficial spots, smooth skin texture, reduce enlarged pores, or diminish acne marks. Perfect for those who want more radiant, compact, and uniform skin without resorting to invasive procedures.

Chemical peels can be used on various areas of the face and body, adapting to your specific needs and skin type.

How It Is Performed

A controlled acid solution is applied evenly to the skin. The acid induces a controlled exfoliation that removes dead cells from the superficial layer of the skin. This process stimulates the skin to react by producing new collagen and accelerating cellular turnover (the natural cell renewal process). The result is the revelation of new, smoother, more radiant, and compact skin. The intensity of the peel can be adjusted by the physician based on your skin type and goals.

The mechanism is completely biological: you are simply accelerating the skin’s natural renewal process, without resorting to aggressive permanent substances.
