Lasermed laser hair removal is an aesthetic treatment that progressively and permanently eliminates unwanted hair using concentrated laser light on the hair follicle. It is the ideal solution if you want to eliminate unwanted hair on legs, back, chest, face, groin, and other body areas, achieving permanent reduction up to 90% after the complete cycle. Perfect for those who want smooth and soft skin without the irritation caused by razors, waxing, or folliculitis, with progressive and long-lasting results over time.
Unlike waxing and razors, laser hair removal offers permanent results and smoother, softer skin in the long term.
The laser emits light at a specific wavelength that is selectively absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. The heat generated destroys the hair follicle during the growth phase (anagen phase) without damaging the surrounding skin. Since hairs are in different growth phases, multiple sessions are needed to target all hairs during their active phase. With each session, the number of hairs that regrow progressively decreases.
The mechanism is selective and precise: the light targets only active hairs, completely respecting the surrounding skin.

WHAT TO AVOID:
POST-PROCEDURE PRECAUTIONS:
This treatment must be performed exclusively by qualified and trained personnel with certified and regularly maintained laser devices. It requires a preliminary medical evaluation to rule out contraindications and to select the appropriate laser based on your skin type and hair type. It is contraindicated in cases of pregnancy, tanned or very dark skin, use of photosensitizing medications, tattoos, or recent scars in the area to be treated. It works best on dark hair and light skin, but recent technologies can also treat darker skin types with specific protocols. Results vary based on hair color and density, hormones, treated area, and individual characteristics. If you are taking photosensitizing medications or have very dark skin, communicate with your physician during the preliminary evaluation.
