WHAT TO AVOID:
- For the first 24 hours: do not massage the treated area, avoid intense heat, sauna, hot baths and strenuous physical activity
- For the first 48 hours: avoid alcohol and very hot beverages as they may increase swelling
- For the first 3-7 days: avoid aggressive aesthetic procedures on the same area (peels, laser, microneedling)
- Always avoid: sleeping completely on the treated area in the first few days
POST-PROCEDURE PRECAUTIONS:
- Apply cold compresses for the first 2 days to reduce swelling (15 minutes every 2 hours)
- Use a gentle moisturizer on the treated area
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated (hyaluronic acid works better)
- You may apply light makeup after 24 hours if necessary
- Sleep with your head elevated for the first 3-4 days to minimize overnight swelling
- Normal reactions that disappear naturally: mild swelling (1-2 days), small bruises (3-5 days), redness (a few hours), small nodules at the injection site that are naturally reabsorbed
